In 2014 Jo’s husband was diagnosed with PTSD after serving 27 years in the Australian Defence Force. At the time her own mental well-being was impacted. She was so focussed on helping her husband and being the strong one for her children that she neglected her own mental health. She had to realise that in order to take care of her family she had to first take care of herself first. Once she took back control of her own mental health, she was able to think more clearly and there was less friction in her house. She was able to be a supportive wife and mother. That is the goal at the Zen Zone… they want to help you to take back control; equip you with the tools to monitor and improve your own mental well-being… and help you to put the Zen back into your Zone!
